Shane Opp has been involved in real estate industry in many different capacities throughout the years starting with purchasing his first house in Red Deer at the age of 24 years of age. From there he went on to purchase a number of different rental properties in both Calgary and Edmonton.

Then seeing the many real estate shows on TV he thought he would try his hand at the lucrative market of flipping homes with the purchase of a single family home in Edmonton. When unexpected costs/repairs came into play he soon found out how unlucrative flipping can be at times. He ended up selling that property for a loss after owning it for over a year and a half.

Since Joining one of the largest real estate offices in town Shane has had great success winning numerous awards including Rookie Of The Year and 2014 Platinum Award with is presented to the top 5% real estate agents within the 16,000+ agents in that company brokerage.

However still feeling unfulfilled Shane felt there was still a better way to sell real estate and represent both his buyers and sellers. Through much research and talking to many franchisees he decided on the 2% Realty concept and purchased the local franchise back in 2015.

Since purchasing the franchise Shane has had great success in representing his sellers and saving them thousands of dollars in commissions on the sale of their homes while still offering Full Service Realty. 2 Percent Realty Advantage represents sellers in Red Deer and all of Central Alberta with our innovative concept.
